One thing I am extremely thankful for is having parents that throughout my life, I have always felt they were proud of me...
No matter what I was "accomplishing" they always made a big deal out of it...Be that big or small, what they did as parents created me growing up with confidence in myself...
This hasn't changed...Yesterday I got this really sweet handmade note from them celebrating Happy Soul Project winning Top Canadian Mom Blog...SideNote: Absolutely freaking amazing...I was utterly humbled, honoured & oh so happy- Happy Soul Project not only made Circle of Moms Top 25 Canadian Mom Blogs, it came in FIRST freaking PLACE...
Big ShoutOut to everyone who voted, shared, bugged others & sent encouraging messages...Really hoping this is what is needed to make Happy Soul Project soar...

Anyways, I love that my parents always make a big deal out of "life"...They celebrate those moments others might just let slip by...It made for a very special way to grow up & it's something I hope to pass on as a mum to my little hooligans...I want them to know how proud I am of them like my parents were of me...

Every accomplishment, every challenge, every milestone will be celebrated in some way big or small in this home...
