If you personally know me or if you’ve read my Letters To Noal you will note that how I talk is how I write and at times that is completely all over the place...My little mind goes a million miles a minute~ Craig constantly can tell when it’s happening and he’ll tell me to turn my thinker off...If only I could or if only he knew or realized exactly how much goes on up here...I mean most nights I lie awake and my little mind won’t shut off for the life of me: dreams, ideas, worries, to-do’s, funny moments, memories- I mean there is just so bloody much to think about its hard to get it all in one day...That being said, if this blog turns out to be nothing more than a creative space for the ramblings in my mind to have their place in this world ~ Enjoy and your welcome...Trust me though, these little ramblings are at least entertaining...And if that won’t make you laugh or do anything for y’all than at least you get to see pics~videos of these Happy little Souls...
Please note my son loves a good accent so I'm known to bust out with accents from around the globe...This one is his favourite...
So, before I explain how Happy Soul Project...will be organized so that you somewhat know what you’re getting yourself addicted to - Let me first apologize in advance for 2 things...
One: Unlike, really good bloggers- I will be random in my postings- I can’t promise you I’ll write everyday or even when...Fitting in writing with my everyday life and a busy toddler & new born baby, with special needs is unpredictable so please bear with me...
Two: My spelling, grammar & punctuation will be all over the place~ As mentioned I am a journalism graduate but to be honest, I hated that part about writing...I’m one to use ! when I’m not supposed to, and I write how I talk and therefore use my own form of “punctuation” as you will notice...I’m sure it drives some people right wild and to those I apologize but promise you it won’t get any better...And to those who truly know me or those who become a reader you will learn to read this blog and hopefully hear my voice through it...
So, punctuality & punctuation are not my strong points so if y'all are looking for that in a blog, it’s not here...I’d say my strong points will be honesty & humour {I seriously, and Craig would have to agree, think I am one of the funniest gals out there}.
So, I truly am happy you are reading this and I want you to enjoy it, so I thought I would outline what it will feature so that you kind of have a map or index to guide you along...Also, than you can read as much about a topic that you want or completely skip something not of interest to you...
Until, I find myself a lovely Blog Designer, this is the best possible way I can organize the blog. Any creative Blog Designer out there reading this blog interested in working with me on improving the layout, please help!!! I never realized how technical blogging was and this is as good as it gets for me~ I’m already in way over my head...So, I need ya!!!
And to everyone reading until I can get help and get the blog to look exactly how I envision it to be you’ll have to bear with me and my design limitations...
So, if I really let myself dream big ~ and why shouldn’t I right? We all should...I mean I never got through the Secret or made a vision board, but I get the essence of what the message is...Putting what you want out there and I guess this is my way of doing just that...Putting out my dreams in hopes that one day I can write them and everything else all down...So my dream would be that this blog leads to a book...To be honest, I have already started a book and to me it’s a fun, quarky read and fingers crossed, prayers sent up, Irish horseshoes polished, I’m putting it all out there in hopes it becomes a reality...
So because of all this; my punctuality & punctuation problem, my book dream and the fact that this is truly the only way I know how to write this thing...Happy Soul Project will kind of read like a book in a sense that I will be walking you through my life-memories from childhood, growing up and of course talking about my brilliant life right now and how I’m changing it with the help of all you, my children, everything around me & Pinterest...
That being said, here is an index or better yet the main Chapters you will see in Happy Soul Project...
~365 Pins~
This is where you will find a quick recap of the 365 pins that I will be posting that have inspired, challenged or helped me in some way.
So Pin Two is...
I promise my “pins” will extend beyond my Wise Words board eventually but this seemed relevant to what I’m trying to do with the blog...So while, some of you are still getting to know me in these first few blogs, I might be using quotes that inspired me relevantly to what I'm writing...But I promise-good old sockbun curls, dyed mason jars & something made from a pallet will be featured- I just feel it's really important to see inside my life before we become so informal...Hope that makes sense...
But back to this lovely quote, I feel that by opening my life and showing you funny moments, inspiring aspirations and how grateful I am for the people in my life ~ I hope in turn, I’m letting my light shine, being a source of strenghth or courage for someone who can relate to experiences I’ve gone through and hopefully radiating the love I feel for others to you...It will stop there though-as far as the sharing the wisdom side of things- Iprobably wouldn't go that far- I’m open to sharing my life and what I’ve learned but take from it what you may...So hopefully Happy Soul Project will be a source of something for you or at least it will allow me to believe that I am somehow shining my light by sharing in this way...
~Letters to Noal & Beautiful Reid~
This is truly my heart pouring out to my precious babies...It’s very personal and I debating sharing on the blog...But in the end, I am not only leaving this beautiful thing for my son & daughter but hopefully it will bring joy to others, or even inspire them to write to their own children. I probably won’t share every letter with everyone ~ I’ll keep some just for my little Bubba & Sweet Pea in the actually books where I handwrite them...

~Operation Ellen~
This is where I am trying desperately to get Ellen’s attention...Two reasons:
One: Craig, my darling hubs doesn’t really get the blog world and although he supports me, he also thinks I dream in unicorns & rainbows...So, he has challenged me that if I could get Ellen’s attention he in turn would get a tattoo, that he has absolutely no desire to get...This alone is reason enough for me...You see, my lovely husband is a preppy, rational, very practical, Northern Canadian Boy and wants nothing to do with a tattoo...So, the joy this would being me is indescribale...
Two: I’d love Ellen to help shine some light on this little blog to hopefully grab the attention of other readers/friends out there that can relate to what I write about...And to bring awareness, hope & joy to others about raising a child with Down Syndrome...
So, I know without a doubt, once my mum figures out how to follow a blog, my favourite Aunt & my close girlfriends, will read this and get a laugh or giggle because they are all a part of this...But, I hope it can also relate to my generation and others who lived or are living these ridiculously amazing years...After college, travelling, becoming a young adult with a career, getting married and becoming first time parents...
So, in Operation Ellen you will find letters, videos and photos all in my attempt to get her attention...You might also notice I annoyingly post these videos on YouTube and I constantly Tweet or Facebook her...If any friends out there have any other ideas, please share...And Ellen, come on when are you going to call?

~Guest Bloggers~
This is where I share my brilliant Guest Bloggers who will be blogging their own thoughts, ideas and talent...To me, they are some of the loveliest people I know, so enjoy them...
~Trisomy 21~
Because I am a new parent to a daughter with special needs- there has been alot of learning on my end of things...This is where I will share information & things that made me smile, inspired me or gave me hope about Reid's life living with Down Syndrome...
So in “Pin Three” I will outline Sub~Chapters per say, and ideally y’all understand how my little mind envisioned this blog to be...
One more important thing I want to note and promise you ~ I vow to you that everything I write is from an honest, open and raw place...Everything on this blog has to be as it is indeed my life...I also hope and encourage feedback and comments from anyone and from those who were there with me in any of these moments I write about...Your perspective, thoughts and take on it would make the blog that much better ~ so write away ~ Help me make this blog soar...
Cheers to soaring...
