Writing Pip's birthday letter was emotional as any mumma out there can imagine...Trying to put into words the year she's had, the love I have & everything was really quite hard...

Last night I took the time to re-read every single Letter to Pip from others...And let me tell you this mumma was a big hot mess...

These letters are beautiful...They amaze me & like Pip one day will, I cherish them so very much...

While I write both my hooligans letters all the time, I only share some with y'all on Happy Soul Project...Most I keep in a little book, handwritten for them to have one day...I want them to know who I was when they were little - I want them to be able to relive a memory so clearly & through my eyes...Like any mum I tend to forget things, days blend into other days, memories fade & life moves on...So these letters are my way of holding on to those moments with them...

However when Pip was born, I wanted to do something different...I wanted to do something special...And Dear Sweet Pip was created...

I wanted there to somehow be a way when she was older to know how very much she inspired people...I wanted her to be able to read a letter from others feeling how much she was loved...I wanted her to hear someone else's words & know she changed their lives...I wanted her to be able to see the happiness & hope she shared & know how very special she is because of it...

And reading back the Letters for Pip that others have already written do just that...I feel the love, the inspiration & the shine my baby girl has in them...

So a big thank you to those that have written her a letter before- I honestly believe when she is older she will cherish them like nothing else...
