About t....

Hiya Lovely Friends,

I am t...A quarky wanna-be writer/blogger, adoring/annoyed wife, minivan mumma to two hooligans & on a journey to have a Happy Soul...Hmmm let's see what else can I tell y'all about myself:

  • I love avocados, roller coasters, a proper cup of tea & a good cuddle... I'm slightly addicted to peanut butter, reality tv, chocolate and bacon dip...
  • My baby boy, Noal {nicknamed Bubba, Potato or Mouse} makes my whole world sweeter & might seriously be the cutest kid to walk the planet...You can read more about him HERE, HERE & HERE & in Letters to Noal...
  • Life is more beautiful because of my baby girl, Reid, {nicknamed Pip} who happens to have an extra chromosome...To read about her Down syndrome birth diagnosis click HERE...Our poor little Pip has had more than enough challenges in her short life so far - to read about her eye surgery click HERE & her heart surgery click HERE, HERE, HERE & HERE...You can also read Dear Sweet Pip for inspiring & hopeful letters or to find out more about Down syndrome click HERE...
  • You can read about how both Noal & Reid have changed my life HERE & HERE...And what I think both the bad & the good about being a mum HERE & HERE...
  • My partner or hubs as I like to refer to him in the blog really is my happy ever after...To read more about us click HERE & HERE...

So, that just about sums it up but if y'all are really interested you can see my Timeline to know more about me...

My Grandma use to tell me “Be so Happy so that when others look at you they become Happy too”...It has always stuck with me & my mission in life is to live with a grateful spirit & Happy Soul...The blog is a quarky & genuine look on how I'm trying to do just that...

  • To know more about why I started the blog click HERE...

Truly, thanks a million for taking the time to stop by Happy Soul Project ~ You'll never really know just how much it means to me that y'all are here...

This whole thing really has been a labour of love for me to create & I hope it brings some happiness to you or at least makes you look at the world a wee bit differently...

your write beautifully about your family. Not sure how I found your blog but glad I did. My son is 12 with DS. so I have have been on the ride a while longer than you. You hit nail on the head so many times. keep enjoying life. I call DS 'the Compassion Mutation'. I see so much of that in Pip and my boy. good luck and thanks for writing.

  2. Hi there from Bites for Babies. I too am in the Circle of Moms contest...which is also where I found your Blog! After reading about your trials and tribulations (and not to mention the fact that you write so whole-heartedly) I definitely think you deserve to be (and stay!) in the top spot!!!! ;-)
