Came across your post about going back and forth trying to decide how your dd would look with earrings. Funny, but I had the same dilemma too. I tried stickers, magnetic earrings and everything in between. After much deliberation, I just held a pair of my pearl studs to ears in front of the mirror. She smiled and I had a decision including the style of earring for her first pair!

My dd didn't have much hair and was mistaken for a boy on many occasions. Admittedly, I am in favor of infant ear piercing and absolutely swoon over tiny baby girls with those little diamond studs in their earlobes. Not only do I think it is Adorable with a capital A, it also helps hair challenged babies like mine say “I am a girl!!" Confess I was a bit nervous to pull the trigger and a chicken too, but changed my mind after seeing so

many babies and little girls with cute earrings. Sounds like your friend provided comic relief and moral support too.

What changed my mind to go ahead? I asked our ped and she had her dd's ears pierced at 3 mos. She gave me so great tips for finding the right person and place to do. Putting my mind at ease, I went ahead the next day. She was 4 months old and looked pretty darned cute if I say so myself.

Loved your dd's pictures with earrings and especially the one with her smiling and asleep. How cute is she? She looks like a little angel with those little earrings. Now I just can't imagine my dd now without earrings and think you will too. Although you said, "...I'm still deciding if I like them & if I'll take them out but for now what's done is done." Not to worry, you were a smart mommy for doing them as an infant she will thank you later for the "gift of pierced ears as an infant." Promise she will be getting so many compliments on how pretty they look very soon!

If any moms are on the fence like I was, and want our ped's tips, drop me an e-mail.

AmyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-818973399306650502.post-84654629484077036132013-06-08T22:09:20.619-04:002013-06-08T22:09:20.619-04:00Love love love you and your Adorable Hooligans mor...Love love love you and your Adorable Hooligans more than you know!!!.....miss you guys so much already :( xoxo
Auntie LaursAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
